Prayer is a demonstration of faith and trust in God.

Prayer is one-on-one time with God.  It is during this time that we praise His name, give thanksgiving for blessings and ask Him for His mercy and guidance in our lives.

When we pray as Christians, we acknowledge that God is our Heavenly Father whom we can communicate with through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  In praying, we seek God's divine wisdom, knowing He hears and listens to us at all times.  God is always present.  He never disappears from our lives.  It is for this reason we can call unto Him at any time.

Our church family has made a commitment to exercising the power of prayer based on scripture:

Ephesians 3:20 - Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Therefore, we pray in confidence for all who are sick and need healing - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Ongoing Prayer...

Pray for those who do not know Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Learn to be a disciple and spreader of the Gospel of Jesus.

Continue to pray for those who are sick, those who are struggling financially, and those who are faltering.

We pray for the fulfillment of God’s Plan in our lives.

Father, Lord Jesus, teach us by your Spirit how to live these words you gave us in Matthew 6:25: "Take no thought for your life; what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, nor yet for your body what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat and the body than raiment?"

THINK AND MEDITATE ON THIS: Teach us how to?

Lord Jesus, you said in John 14:21 "Those that love me, have my commandments, principles etc., in their hearts and they do them.  Because they love me, my Father loves them and I love them."  Jesus goes on to say "My Father, myself and the Holy Spirit will abode (or make our home) in the person."  Father give us wisdom to know how to apply this fact to our daily lives!
